CAUTIONS:
-This formula is contraindicated in patients who are on immune suppressant drugs (i.e. cyclosporin) after receiving an organ transplant. Imperial Tonic contains many herbs that enhance both specific and non-specific immunity and may increase the risk of organ rejection.
-Patients who are on anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapies, such as Coumadin (Warfarin), should use this formula with caution as there may be a slightly higher risk of bleeding and bruising.
-Imperial Tonic™ is safe for long-term use. However, because it is a warm formula, it should be reduced in dosage or discontinued if it causes side effects characterized by heat, such as dry mouth, thirst, nosebleeds, and others.
