CAUTIONS
Orally, Bai Zhu (atractylodes) can cause an allergic reaction in people sensitive to the Asteraceae/Compositae family (12450). Members of this family include ragweed, chrysanthemums, marigolds, daisies, and many other herbs.
Orally, Bai Shao (peony) can cause gastric upset.
